chain poop

what’s something you’re dreading? A future void of the things I dream of

  • if you could say one thing to any person right now, what would it be? Thank you for the amazing A.I. Artificial Intelligence book Lucie, so sorry I've been too shy to send you a thank you letter, it's the best gift anyone's ever given to me my whole life.

  • what’s a band that’s impacted your life? If it must be a band, Radiohead. But if it can be an individual musician, Imogen Heap.

  • describe your perfect partner. Life taught me that perfect partners are over rated.

  • what’s your star sign? does it fit you? You mean my astrological sign..? I'm a Gemini. I think geminis are mainly two-faced people who need allot of change very often. Two faced, I guess I'd have to agree with since I'm rarely comfortable enough to be my true self around most people. And the change part could be true. I do a rotation of my room's furniture about once a month. I change my hair color several times a year.

  • what’s your favorite thing about yourself? This might not make much sense, but I like that I like what I like, I guess.

  • what’s something you wish you could change about yourself? Superficial I know, but my weight. I'd lose about 20lbs permanently, by magic. Sadly enough it'd probably be possible, but I'm not so much into the whole... starve yourself and collect "thinspo" obsessively thing. It's a nasty lifestyle I don't miss.

  • if you could date one literary character, who would it be? why? I don't know too many literary characters. I actually can't find it in my head to answer that at all.

  • how would you choose to die? AFTER everything I plan on experiencing, in a long long time from now.

  • if you had 24 hours to live, what would you do? next.

  • how would you respond to a partner cheating? next.

  • what are your five pet peeves? Buying foods and treats I crave when I should be saving money aside, having a hard time coming out of a store without buying something (even if it's a 50 cent thing), biting my nails, taking a bunch of clothes out of my closet and not hanging them back up, being just a little late for just about everything.

  • complete the sentence: i always love someone who… knows some of the things I know (musicians, artists, movies, etc) Most of the time people have no idea what I'm talking about when I tell them what I like. Discovering someone who knows what I'm talking about makes me feel that much less alone in the world. Long live outcasts with good taste!

  • who’s an idol of yours? I can't pick. 1) Imogen Heap is an idol of mine. Her music is embedded in my history and my heart. I love everything about her voice and the sound effects that she creates. Her kindness with her fans via her Youtube vlog also makes me happy. 2) I also idolize some of Zooey Deschanel's characters for their beauty & sweeteness, their sincere-sounding voices (unfiltered & nasally) and interesting personalities. 3) Finally, my favorite writer Amelie Nothomb, for her weird & fascinating mind, her wonderful french accent, and her admirably vast vocabulary. She is an absolute genius.

  • what’s your worst memory? January 16th 2011 if I'm not mistaken

  • would you ever consider a serious relationship with someone of your gender? If not for the fact that I'm already in a relationship with a man, absolutely. (On pourait dire que monsieur est venu juste a temps..!)

  • what does it take to gain your trust? I dunno. It's like I have a sense for these things. No one I know has ever really back-stabbed me from my memory.

  • if you could move anywhere, where would you go? Easy. Either France or England. Screw Quebec & Canada / The United States. They're the less interesting watered down version of the cultures they descend from.

  • place the following in order of importance to you: money, knowledge, bravery, kindness, love. Love, knowledge, kindness, money, bravery. Or something like that.

  • would you make a good parent? I don't want to make a parent period. And for the record, no, I don't think I would make a good parent. I'm an impatient enough sister as it is. My own mother even admitted that she regrets having children and I don't blame her for it. So I consider this whole *screw kids* thing some kind of genetic-ish-ly-descended need for liberty that can't be satisfied if you're pined down for 25 years by the responsibilities of being a mother. Besides, there are enough human beings multiplying on this planet as it is.

  • what’s something you can’t get off your mind? I wish I had blue haaaaaaaaaaaaaair! But all the superficial hair-specialist-majigie people talk me into the whole *you shouldn't because it won't stay long and it will damage your hair permanently, trust me you don't want it* thing, which I really shouldn't listen to in the first place because I quite frankly do not give a flying duck for the quality of my hair. They just don't get that. Ah well. Some day...

  • do you prefer (or do you imagine you’d prefer): drinking or drugs? I prefer pot. It's way funner. But I don't do it very often at all. Mostly out of laziness. I also don't have connections. And I'm a pussy about anything against the law.

  • what’s your favorite movie? A.I. Artificial Intelligence

  • are you outgoing or shy? Allot of both.

  • would you consider plastic surgery? Actually kinda. As long as I don't have anything to do on a daily basis. I'm a come-out-of-the-shower-and-don't-touch-your-hair-or-face-and-don't-spend-too-much-time-picking-what-you're-gonna-wear-or-you'll-start-to-feel-superficial-and-get-depressed kinda person. As long as I don't have to think about anything appearance related ever *afterwards*, I don't mind body modifications if it can give me a little more comfort with my "natural" appearance. (BASICALLY i don't mind permanent modifications because you only have to think about them once. You can go back to being comfortably natural-ish afterwards.)

  • do you get along better with your gender or the opposite gender? Opposite gender. I'm less shy & more outgoing around men. Women make me timid & pressured for some reason.

  • how would you define your political views? I believe in the political carrot.

  • what lyrics do you live by? Can't say I really live by any particular lyrics.

  • who’s someone you hate? why? I don't hate anyone really.

  • do you ever stalk your exes? Not anymore. Don't plan on touching that with a 40 foot pole.

  • have you ever broken someone’s heart? According to someone a long time ago, yes.

  • do you like where you live? No! But I like my room.

  • what’s your favorite smell? Cinnamon? Coffee? Vanilla? Mint? Mango? Coconut? Energy drink? Lavender? Jasmine tea? WAIT. Really strong conditioner smell.

  • what’s something people assume about you that is incorrect? That my being silent and reserved points to a rejection of all others & high self esteem. (...though occasionally it is so. I'm sorry, allot of people are plain idiots, you've got to admit.)

  • if you could instantly learn another language, which would you learn? I'd rather improve the languages I speak. But I guess it would be Japanese. Or maybe Russian?

  • what do you think the point of life is? To be who you want to be, go where you want to go, do what you want to do, be loved by those you love, expand your knowledge, eat well, be healthy, treat yourself well and be happy.

  • have you ever done something illegal? Smoking pot I think is the only illegal thing I've ever done.

  • what do you think is the depth of human misery? Kekwa?

  • what’s a love tip you wish everyone knew? I think a relationship is like a pet. You need to know how to take care of it if you want it to stay alive.

  • do you believe in the supernatural? I don't, yet I still fear it. Does that make any sense?
